I write code that occasionally works on the first try (those are good days). I’m currently building storage systems at Google that try really hard to look like they have infinite space.

I’ve spent years convincing computers to do things, from racing games to payroll systems. Turns out they’re easier to reason with than people, but somehow still manage to crash at 3 AM.
